On-demand helicopter charter

Raven Aircraft is an FAA Part 135 air carrier. That means our charter flights meet the same federal standards for pilot qualification, maintenance, operational control and safety management as any commercial air carrier — not just a pilot with a helicopter.

When a helicopter makes sense

Point-to-point transport across the Portland–Vancouver region and the Gorge when the road adds hours. Access to remote sites, ridgelines, timber and ranch land. Crew moves and shift changes for field operations. Time-critical parts and equipment delivery. Ground-truthing for real estate, forestry, land management and insurance work.

What to expect

Day VFR operations. Up to three passengers in the R44 or four in the R66. Weight and balance is calculated for every flight, so we’ll ask for passenger and baggage weights when you book. Flights are weather dependent; we’ll tell you early if conditions don’t allow a safe departure. Landing sites away from airports are surveyed and approved before we commit.

Hazardous materials

Properly prepared and declared hazardous materials can be carried under our will-carry program. Tell us what’s in the cargo and we’ll handle the rest.
