How we operate

Raven Aircraft is a certificated operator. The certificates below are issued and overseen by the FAA and are what allow us to carry passengers and cargo for hire and to fly external loads.

Certificates and authorizations

FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate — on-demand passenger and cargo operations.

FAA Part 133 Rotorcraft External-Load Certificate — Class B external-load operations.

Hazardous Materials Will-Carry authorization — carriage of properly prepared hazardous materials under 49 CFR.

Programs

Safety Management System with hazard reporting and risk management. Flight Risk Assessment completed before every flight. FAA drug and alcohol testing program. Maintenance performed by a certificated A&P mechanic under FAA-required inspection programs. Pilot training, competency and line checks per Part 135.
